The Passing of Professor of Literature, the Late Dr. Hossein Razmjoo

Alas, that the storytellers have all fallen silent, Sorrow, that the sorrow-eaters have all departed. Dr. Hossein Razmjoo passed away on Saturday, August 22nd, at the age of eighty-three. Dr. Hossein Razmjoo was born in Mashhad in 1932. He completed his primary education at Sharaf Elementary School and his secondary education at Ferdowsi High School in Mashhad, receiving his experimental diploma. He received his Bachelor's degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Persian Language and Literature, and his Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Tehran. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree, he was employed by the Ministry of Education, and after receiving his doctorate, he came to Mashhad and served as the General Director of Education of Khorasan for a time. Subsequently, he transferred from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Science and began teaching at Ferdowsi University.
