Dr. Ali Delavar was born in Khorramabad in 1941 and received his Ph.D. in Research Methods and Statistics from Florida State University in 1979. Furthermore, he holds the academic rank of Professor at Allameh Tabataba'i University, and has presented 137 articles in national and international scientific seminars, and has also translated and authored 19 books.. It is worth mentioning that many specialists in the field of psychology have given Dr. Ali Delavar the title of "The Father of Research Methods in Psychology and Psychometrics in Iran.".

A ceremony to honor and respect him as one of the luminaries of Lorestan province and a distinguished professor of psychometrics will be held with the presence of intellectuals and academics of the province on Wednesday, December 6th at 10:00 AM in the Basic Sciences Amphitheater Hall.
