Introduction to the Faculty

The Faculty of Literature and Humanities is the largest and most populous faculty at Lorestan University. Currently, more than 105 faculty members in 12 academic departments provide instruction to over 2600 students in doctoral, master's, and bachelor's programs. In addition, the four departments of Islamic Studies, Persian Language and Literature, Arabic Language and Literature, and English Language and Literature also provide services to other faculties of the university. Half of the international students of the university are studying in this faculty. The Lorestan Studies Center and the Language Education Center for Non-Persian Speakers are also active in this faculty.
