Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Lorestan University commenced its activities in 2009 with the admission of students in the Bachelor of Science program in General Psychology. Currently, the Department of Psychology offers programs at the Bachelor's level in General Psychology and Counseling, at the Master's level in General Psychology and Educational Psychology, and at the Doctoral level in General Psychology and Educational Psychology. The Department of Psychology is currently operating with 8 faculty members. It is hoped that in the future, with the increase in the number of faculty members and the establishment of various specializations in Psychology and Counseling at the Master's and Doctoral levels, the department will be able to serve the esteemed people of Lorestan province and our Islamic Republic of Iran.
