Department of Political Science and Law

The Department of Political Science and Law at Lorestan University, following the efforts of the university president and vice-presidents, began recruiting and offering scholarships to law graduates in 2012. It commenced operations in the first semester of 2013-2014 with three faculty members and the admission of 35 full-time undergraduate students. The department is striving to establish higher degree programs, considering its academic capabilities. The Political Science program at Lorestan University began in 2013. The primary objective of establishing this program is to train political experts committed to religious values and the principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Currently, this program is also working to establish higher degree programs, considering its academic capabilities. The success of a number of the first graduates of the Political Science program at Lorestan University in the Master's entrance examinations of the top universities in the country indicates their high aspirations and the dedicated efforts of the faculty members of the Political Science program.
